Go, Go, Go! (Activity Instructions)      2 Years      3 Years      4 Years

Number of players: 2-6
Print off one set of 4 game boards per 6 players. (4 game boards total) (Link below)
Print off one set of game cards per 6 players. (16 game cards total) (Link below)
Get 5 additional blank pieces of paper.

Teachers: Have students get into groups of 6. In each group of 6, have 4 of the 6 students color the game boards and have the other 2 players color the game cards. Cut out the game cards and place them on the floor, on the outskirts of the room. Place 4 game boards on the floor, 2 above, 2 below, with game boards touching, forming a giant square with the 4 boards. Take one piece of paper and crumple it into a paper ball. Take 4 pieces of paper and cut them in half, the long length of the paper, and tape all of the strips together, making a very long strip of paper. (See diagram below.) When all the strips are taped together, then tape the free ends together, forming a paper wall that you’ll put around the 4 game boards on the floor.

Parents: Can have 2 – 6 players. Have each player take one item, either a game board, or game cards and color the sheet. If there are more sheets than players, give the extra sheets to anyone who wants to do more coloring. Place all 4 game boards on the floor, making a large square, like the diagram above. Take 4 pieces of blank paper and cut them each in half, using the long part of the paper. You will then have 8 strips. Tape the 8 strips together making a very long strip. Then tape the free ends of the long strip together forming a wall that you will set upright around the 4 game boards. This will be used to stop the paper ball from rolling off the game boards. Take another blank piece of paper and roll it into a ball.

Play Instructions: The youngest player goes first. Have him toss the paper ball onto the game boards. When it lands on a square, everyone does the action stated on that square. The game moderator can decide how many times an action is to be done. The group can count out loud. If the paper ball lands on a Go square, only the roller is to run to the outskirts of the room and pick up a Go card. Then return to his spot and place the go card on the floor at his feet. Then the next player rolls the ball. (Whichever square the ball is covering most, is the square that is read.)

How to win: The first player to get 4 Go cards (cards with stick figure running) is the winner.
