Number of players: 1 - unlimited
Print off 1 puzzle sheet per player. (Link below)
*Use cardstock for this activity.
Teachers: Print out any of the shape puzzles and give one to
each student. Have the students color the puzzles. When
they're finished, cut the puzzles into several strips depending on skill
level. Start by cutting them into 4 strips width wise across the
puzzle. If 4 strips are too easy you can cut those strips in half
and let them try to put the puzzle together again. Tell the
students what each shape is and have them guess what the picture is.
Parents: Give each player 1 puzzle. Have the player
color the puzzle. Cut the puzzle into strips, width wise across
the puzzle. Try starting with 4 strips and then if this is too
easy you can cut those strips in half. Have the player try to put
the puzzle back together. Have the player say the shape on the
puzzle and what he thinks the picture is.
Play Instructions: Cut puzzles into strips, have players
put the puzzles back together.
How to win: If you want to make this a game, you can give all
students the same puzzle and the first person who puts his puzzle back
together is the winner. Then cut it into more strips and have them
all try again.
