Use cardstock paper for best results.
Print off 3 copies of each block sheet so you’ll have 12 blocks total.
(12 blocks per up to 4 players)
Teachers: Separate students into groups of 4. Print off 3 copies
of each block sheet, to make 12 blocks. Give each student 3 block sheets
and have them color the numbers only. Cut out the block sheets and form
the blocks.
Parents: Get into groups of 2 - 4. Give each player some block
sheets to color. Have them color only the numbers. Cut out the block
sheets and create the blocks.
Play Instructions: (Play with the puzzle) Take the blocks and
place them in front of both players. Have players take turns. Have the
first child place one block on the table. Have the other player choose a
block and match up the design like you would a puzzle piece. Matching
the lines with lines. You will first be connecting the pictures on the
blocks, and all blocks will be flat on the table. You can create several
different pictures by connecting the blocks and repeat this process over
and over for fun. (Stacking blocks) Then, have the children stack the
blocks. They can stack them randomly, or connect the lines as they
stack. Let them be creative. Also, have students stack from numbers 1
– 12 in correct order. The blocks can be used as a puzzle and as
building blocks. Discuss the different numbers on each block as you
play.
