Print off 1 Number Card sheet per 2 players (link below)
Teachers: Put students into groups of 2. Have the students sit
next to each other and place the game board in front of them. Cut out
the number cards, shuffle them and place them face down in front of the
students. You can have each student color the number card sheet before
playing if you’d like to do a craft and a game.
Parents: Sit next to your child and place the game board in front
of both of you. Cut out the number cards, shuffle them and place them
face down in front of both players. Color the number cards if you’d
like to do a craft before playing the game.
Play Instructions: Object of the game is to turn over one card at
a time to find the cards in a row from 1 – 5. Youngest player starts.
First player turns over a number card. If that card is number 1, he
would place it on the number 1 space on his game board. If it’s not a
number 1 he turns it back over and the next player goes. Once a player
finds number 1, on his next turn he tries to find number 2, then 3 and
so on until he’s consecutively found numbers 1 – 5 and has placed
them on the game board.
How to win: The first player to have all 5 numbers on his side of
the game board wins.
