Active Games
Number
Steps (NG)
(Place number cards on floor. Players march around and player that
is closest to the number card when the round is over should pick it
up. Player with the most cards in the end wins.)
Clean-up Time (CHG)
(Discuss the importance of cleaning up. Place picture cards of items
kids have to clean up on the floor. They pick up the pictures and
place them on a picture of the room where that item belongs.)
Always Moving (NG)
(Roll 2 paper dice that you print and create.
Do movement activities written on each dice.)
Two Times Forward (NG)
(Players get number cards and have to do actions like hop, skip
etc... to get to their cards. They only do the actions the same
number of times as on their number cards.)
Speedy Letters
(LG)
(Run to find letters. Find A and bring it back and place
it on your personal game board, then go back and hunt for B. Winner
is first person to fill up his game board.)

Day in the Snow (MG)
(A story about a boy who wants to play in the snow and has to put on his
snow clothes. Players get to dress a picture of a boy with clothes.)
Sounds on a Farm (AG)
(A story about the sounds that farm animals make, cows, chickens and
horses. Color a picture that goes with the story and make animal
sounds at the end.)
A Letter Rhyme (LG)
(Teacher or parent reads a rhyme out loud. Players circle letters on
their letter personal letter sheet as they hear each letter said in the
rhyme.)

to Small Shapes (SG)
(Players get 4 shapes, small - big. They are to put the shapes in
different order. Teaches about shapes and size.)
Create Nature (MG)
(Create a nature picture using a base picture of a tree, and smaller
pictures of nature items.)
Same Size Shapes (SG)
(Place cut-out shapes on-top-of their matching size shape on another piece
of paper. Teaches coloring, matching and numbers.)

(Place small cut-out shapes into 1 big shape.)
An Inchworm Adventure (AG) 
(Children color an inchworm picture. Learn some basic facts
about inchworms and play with their pictures.)

Numbers (NG)
(Each
player gets a number game board and a set of corresponding number cards.
Place game board in front of each player. Place game cards there as
well. Players find the number 1 card and place it on the number 1
space, then find number 2 card and so on, until all spaces are covered.)

(Find the shape and put it’s pair on it.)

Car
Race (CG)
(Place different colored car game pieces on game board. Players say which
car will win. Roll dice and move cars. Player that chooses the
car that reaches the end first is the winner.)
Eat Your Veggies (MG)
(Roll dice and flip vegetable flaps into the mouth on the game
board. Teaches about vegetables.)
Lines to Shapes (SG) 
(Each player gets a game board with 4 different shape sequences,
two shapes on each end and a dotted line in between. Moderator rolls
the dice and when a player has the shape sequence that matches the dice,
that player draws a line over the dotted line on that sequence.
Teaches shapes and line drawing.)
The
Same Color (CG)
(Players get 12 color cards with red, blue, yellow and green. They
roll a paper dice and if it lands on a color that is the same as a card
they have in their hand they place that card on the game board.
First player to get rid of all their cards wins.)

Card Games
Choose
a Shape (SG)
(Players get 2 cards each with a different shape on it. Players pick
1 shape and place that card on table. Teacher/parent takes 2 shape
cards and puts behind back and randomly chooses 1. If players chose
same shape as teacher/parent then they draw that shape on paper.
Person with 5 shapes drawn first wins.)
How Many Fruits (NG)
(Players get 6 number cards with the numbers 1,2 and 3. Moderator
rolls the dice and if a player has a number card that matches the number
rolled on the dice the player puts that card in a discard pile. When
one player is out of cards he wins. Teaches numbers 1,2 and 3.)
Sun and Moon (MG)
(Flip over sun and moon cards, if the card matches the moderator's card
they keep it, if not they discard it. Player with most cards
wins. Have players answer questions about the sun and moon.)
Numbers in a Row (NG)
(Players take turns flipping over number cards. When they find the
first number on their number sheet, #1, they place it on their
board. First player to fill up his board wins.)

over 2 cards at a time to find the matching pair.)

their personal game board.)

(Hang shape targets on the wall, throw paper balls to hit the targets.)

(Players get into pairs and roll a paper ball through the other player's
legs. Teaches coordination and taking turns.)
ABC Shoot (LG)
(Flick paper ball through letter hoops giving players points for each ball
that goes through the hoop.)
Paper Dice Games
You
print the dice and create them yourself.
Grab a Shape
(SG)
(Roll personal dice at the same time, if lands on a shape, grab a shape
card. First player to get 4 shape cards wins.)
Give and Take (NG)
(Players get 12 cards each. Players take turns rolling the
dice. Put cards back in the pile and take cards from the pile.
Game teaches about numbers 1 and 2.)
Animal Sounds (AG)
(Roll dice with animals on them at the same time. When someone lands
on the same animal as the main dice, they are to act like that animal.)
Skipping Shapes
(SG)
(Players take turns rolling the paper dice with shapes on it.
They then move their game piece to the shape on the board the
matches the shape they rolled on the dice.
First player to get to the end wins)
The Ladder (NG)
(Hop over paper ladder rungs on the floor using a dice to choose the
number of rungs to jump over each time.)
Where Animals Live (AG)
(Place animal cards on the game board in the environment space where those
animals live.)
