Number of players: 2-4
Print off 1 set of emotions cards per 4 players. There should be two of
each kind of card. (2 pages)
Teachers: Have children get into groups of 2 – 4. Cut the
matching emotions cards around the solid lines and have the children
color them. Place all cards face down in the center of the players.
Parents: Cut the matching emotions cards around the solid line
and give each player an equal number of cards. Have each player color
the cards. Place matching emotions cards face down in the center of the
players.
Play Instructions: Youngest goes first. The first player should
turn two cards over. If the cards match he gets to keep both cards. If
the cards are different he should turn them both back over again. If the
player turns over a card that says, “Tell about a time when you felt
this emotion” and also turns over an emotions card then he’s to talk
about when he’s felt that emotion. If the player turns over both of
the “Tell” cards, he’s to tell about a time when he felt happy and
then he gets to keep both cards. When all the cards have been turned
over and matched, then each player should count his cards.
How to win: The player with the most cards is the winner.
