Reading
Instructions: Explain that this is an active story and that all
listeners are to listen carefully and do what you tell them to do throughout
the story. Begin reading the story, and after each line, tell the listeners to
do the actions written in parenthesis at the end of each paragraph. Provide
help, with choosing the correct pictures, when needed. When the story is over,
you can give each listener another blank piece of paper and have him make a
picture by gluing or taping the nature pictures onto the blank paper. You can
discuss other things the listener has seen when he’s taken walks.
