Teachers: Give each student a game board and a stack of number
cards. Have each student color his cards and board. Have the students
place their boards on the floor in front of them, then have them all
walk about 5 - 10 steps and place their cards, numbers down, on the
ground. Make sure they shuffle the number cards first. Make sure the
cards are spread apart.
Parents: Give each player one game board and a stack of number
cards. Have the players color the board and cards. Have each player put
the game board on the ground, then have all of them take about 5 – 10
steps forward and place all the number cards, numbers down, on the
ground. Have the players shuffle their cards. Make sure the cards are
spread apart.
Play Instructions: Count to 10 first and when you get to ten say
“Go!,” and all players are to run to their number cards and turn
them over one-by-one. They are to first search for the number 1. If they
turn over a card and it isn’t #1, they are to turn that card face down
again and choose another card. When they find the number 1, they are to
run back to their game board and place the #1 card on the #1 space. Next
they are to find #2. Then #3, and so on.
How to win: The first player to have found all 10 number cards
and covered their game board, is the winner.
