Number of players: Read to small groups.
Print off one active story sheet. (link below)
Use one blank piece of paper. (link below)
Teachers: Cut out squares that are the size of each
square around the animal on the active story sheet. Place a blank square over each animal. Put one small piece of tape on the top,
center of each blank square. These
squares will become the flap door that children will use to uncover the
animal when that part of the story is read.
Parents: Have your child color the animals on the
active story sheet. Cut out squares

Play Instructions: Read the story to the child
and have him/her say what he thinks each animal is and then have him lift the
flap to reveal that animal.
